Providing person-centred support adult aged 18-65 years

At RidgeView, our residents are at the heart of everything that we do. We work in partnership with each person, agreeing together how we will support them to be as independent as possible, both in their own home and their local community. We also take into account the perspectives of their relatives and any practitioners who might be assisting them.

Each individual receives emotional and physical support from a specialist staff team who are trained to meet their specific needs. We carefully match our team members to each person so that we can nurture trusting and positive relationships. With individually tailored support from people they feel comfortable and secure with, tenants quickly grow in confidence.

Support is available from a few hours a week to 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including 1:1 support.

We’ve formed relationships with housing providers all over the country, and we’re proud of the quality and diversity of our housing options. We offer self-contained apartments and bungalows, shared living and completely bespoke solutions, with accommodation adapted to meet individual needs.

All of our tenants’ homes are spacious and modern, with many of them including assistive technology facilities to help residents maintain their independence. Our supported living services are located within communities, so they have easy access to amenities and transport links.

We will agree on the type of accommodation and locations that will fit best for each person as we first consider their needs and expectations. We may assist with lease agreements if necessary, allowing people to feel safe in their own homes. If an individual wishes to live with others, we match them with people who have shared interests and lifestyles.

Transitions to more self-sufficient living are seamless.

We know that the move to supported living can feel like a big step, which is why we carefully plan each transition so that it is completely tailored to the individual’s needs. We are committed to making each new resident’s transition to our services as painless and enjoyable as possible.

For certain people, this means making a gradual adjustment over a period of months to reduce anxiety and prepare them for the path ahead.
Throughout the operation, our knowledgeable and welcoming staff members provide assistance, guidance, and motivation.
